Hello artists! Owl Eye here, wrapping up another wonderful week of works from our consummate collective of cognoscenti. Looking through the gallery I found an attention to perspective as a theme for the week. With a good perspective we can captivate and direct the attention of the viewer, more than simply chronicling the scene in the moment.

A breathtaking view from Pan here with great use of perspective giving an illusion of being outside the railing. Leading lines into the corners helps drive the impact of the walkway as the eye travels out into the sunset.

Everything seems calm and comfortable from this perspective by dontshootphotos. The warm glow of light spilling through the windows onto the plants and furniture. The artwork and wording on the windows and walls.

Embarking on a night-time street escapade, Moonlight ventured into the “noir” realm with these Delta 3200 photos. This abstract view matches geometry, perspective and emotion to let the mind wander on decided the subject matter.

How deep into the wood have we traveled on this path? There appears to be more to explore ahead from this perspective. Feeling calm and tranquil amidst a foggy morning atmosphere is a wonderful place to find yourself in during a walk.

As the debate rages on between Holga and Diana, Neutrinissimo has found their way into nesting cameras, and we are left to wonder if this was truly shot on a toy camera. Ethereal macro flower photos are a treat any day.
