How to take part
Every day, whenever you’re about to go out the door, post a picture of the camera you’re taking with you. Every day that you go out. Other kinds of photos of your camera are allowed — for example you can post a selfie with your 4×5 all set up in the field — but you should be posting one every day.
Why?
Carrying a camera every day means more practice; more practice means better photos. After all, your first 10,000 photos are your worst.
What stakes?
At the end of the year we’ll have some cheeky prizes for the most consistent and for the longest streak. There will be categories that are “fair” regardless of your start date.
When?
Signups are open on a rolling basis. You can join at any time. The challenge runs until the end of the year.
